It has been a very busy week here at the nest. Anthony's football season began this week with a couple of practices and a game tomorrow. He has been doing very well at it and has impressed the coaches and team. Currently he is playing a Defensive Lineman, which I think he likes because he gets to knock people around. Here is a picture of him in practice. I took a bunch but I was in the bleachers and most of the practice was on the other side of the field. Anthony is the one in the blue jersey.
Liz and I have been tackling a lot of house fixes and learning a lot about home repair. We put on a new roof on the storage shed (Canadian translation - Baby Barn), and installed a central vaccum (with dads help. Thanks dad.). No pics because I didn't really figure you were all that interested in seeing a vacuum or a roof.I have also began to set up a woodworking shop in the basement. However in one week I now have so many tools that it has expanded into the storage shed. Liz's uncle is a contractor and had come accross someone who had some extra tools that they wanted to get rid of. So Liz's dad brought them to the house, I am now the owner of a compund mitre saw, a drill press, a band saw, and a table saw. Thank you Gordon and Roger.
The big event of the week happened last night when Liz, Anthony and myself got to go with about 1600+ others to see Jeremy Camp. IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had some amazing seats, so we got to see everything. The opening act was The Silent. I am not sure hoe popular they are in the US but here they have been on the music charts several times. Here are some pics from the concert
First The Silent
Jeremey Camp
Anyways I have to get going, Anthony and I are headed to a hockey game. You may see some pictures of that later also.
